Schiit Stack Under Desk Rack

The Schiit Stack Under Desk Rack mounts your Schiit components neatly beneath your desk, keeping your workspace clean and your gear easily accessible.

Installation​

The rack can be mounted using either screws (recommended) or Command Strips. Whichever method you choose, place your Schiit components in the rack before mounting. If the rack is mounted empty and the top shelf flexes inward, your components may not fit. Loading the rack first holds the top shelf at the proper spacing while the mount is set.

Step 1 — Load Your Components​

Slide each component into the rack with the connectors facing the back. Push each component all the way back until it rests flush against the alignment tab. Make sure the rack is oriented the correct way — the alignment tabs should be at the rear.

Step 2 — Mount the Rack​

Choose one of the two mounting methods below.

Option A: Command Strips (Adhesive)​

  1. Clean the mounting surface with isopropyl alcohol and allow it to dry. The surface should be smooth, flat, and free of dust or oil.
  2. Apply Command Strips (not included) to the bottom of the rack.
  3. Press the rack firmly against the underside of your desk and hold for 30 seconds.

For the strongest hold, allow the Command Strips to bond for at least one hour without components in the rack.

  1. Hold the loaded rack against the underside of your desk in the desired position.
  2. Using the built-in screw holes as guides, drive screws (not included) up through the rack and into the desk surface.

Pre-drilling pilot holes can help prevent splitting, especially on hardwood or laminate desks.

Product Care​

Wipe down with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbers.

FAQ​

How many components can it hold? Each slot holds one standard Schiit component. Tube amps like the Vali require two slots due to their extra height. Racks are available in multiple sizes, and custom configurations are available upon request.

Which Schiit products are compatible? Any Schiit product with the standard 5" × 3.5" × 1.25" form factor, including:

  • Modi (all variants)
  • Magni (all variants)
  • Mani
  • Loki / Loki Mini
  • SYS
  • Vali (requires 2 slots)
  • REKKR

What size screws are recommended? The mounting holes are 3.9mm in diameter. We recommend M3×12 or #4 × 1/2" screws.

Will this work with non-Schiit components of similar size? Yes. Each slot accommodates components up to 5" × 3.5" × 1.25", so anything that size or smaller will fit.

Troubleshooting​

Components don't slide in easily This is usually caused by the two sides of the rack being screwed in too close together. To avoid this, always mount the rack with your components already loaded — this ensures proper spacing while the mount is secured.
